Yes. If existing tile is firmly bonded and grout lines are filled flat with leveling compound, rigid-core LVP can float directly on top. For basement concrete slabs, we test moisture levels and lay down a 6-mil poly vapor barrier.
Engineered hardwood and laminate typically need 48 hours to acclimate to your home's indoor humidity and temperature. Rigid-core SPC vinyl requires minimal acclimation, allowing installations to proceed promptly without long delays.
